General Insurance Background

About the Role

The candidate will be responsible for handling Non-Marine Insurance portfolio which includes Fire, Engineering, Property, Liability, and Miscellaneous lines of business. The role involves Underwriting, Risk Assessment, Policy Issuance, Claim Processing and Client Servicing as per IRDA guidelines and company policy.

Key Responsibilities

  1.           Review of claim documents.
  2.           Coordinating with insured & insurer.
  3.           Preparing draft assessment as per policy condition.
  4.           Work with team to maintained reports/working sheets using excel formulas.
  5.           Day to Day Report writing.
  6.           Handling of data.
  7.           Underwriting of Non-Marine products - Fire, Burglary, Engineering (CAR/EAR/MB/BI), Property & Liability.

Educational Qualifications

Graduation in any stream (B.Com / BBA / B.Tech preferred)


Student Member of Insurance Institute of India (III) - Pursuing Surveyor License will be preferred
